デスロールプライヤー（意匠権取得済）は、すべての釣り人に共通する悩みである
「鈎外し」 を解決するために開発されました。
現在市販されている多くの鈎外しは、重量のある魚であれば鈎を掴んで引き抜くことができますが、
小型魚の場合は両手を使わなければ鈎を外せないケースがほとんどです。
また、市販のプライヤーは上下の顎が平面構造のため、丸軸の鈎をしっかりと掴むことができません。
鈎を確実に固定できなければ、鈎はなかなか外れないのが現実です。
そこで当社が設計した デスロール は、
下顎に専用の凹みを設け、その奥側に突起を配置。
さらに 上顎は二股構造 としました。
鈎の軸が下顎の凹みに滑り込むことで、
上顎の二点＋下顎の一点 の三点支持となり、鈎を確実に固定することができます。（意匠権取得済み)
さらに本プライヤーは幅広設計に加え、鈎を掴むポイントを先端より内側に配置しています。
上下方向および前方向にオフセットされた構造により、テコの原理を最大限に活用することが可能です。
鈎をしっかりと保持した状態で、「起こす」「捻る」といったワニのデスロールを想起させる動作を行うことで、鈎のカエシも容易に外すことができます。

Death Roll Pliers were developed to solve one of the most common challenges faced by all anglers: hook removal.
Many hook removers currently on the market can grip and pull out hooks from large, heavy fish.
However, when dealing with small fish, removing the hook often requires the use of both hands.
In addition, most conventional pliers feature flat upper and lower jaws, making it difficult to securely grip round-shank hooks.
Without firmly fixing the hook in place, smooth and reliable hook removal becomes extremely difficult.
To address this issue, Death Roll was designed with a dedicated groove in the lower jaw, combined with a protrusion positioned deep inside the groove.
The upper jaw adopts a forked (dual-prong) structure.
When the hook shank slides into the lower groove, the hook is held by three points of contact—two on the upper jaw and one on the lower jaw—allowing the hook to be securely fixed in place.
Furthermore, the pliers feature a wide-jaw design, with the hook-gripping point positioned inward from the tip.
This offset structure—both vertically and forward—maximizes leverage, fully utilizing the principle of leverage for effortless operation.
With the hook firmly held, performing motions that resemble a crocodile’s death roll—such as “lifting” and “twisting”—allows the barb to be released easily and smoothly.
